Post-release of the Russian-Chinese round table

Post release of Russian-Chinese round table on the topic: "State and Prospects of Microelectronics Market: Problems and Solutions".

On September 26, 2024, as part of annual 24th International Exhibition "Radio Electronics and Instrumentation", the first Russian-Chinese round table was held on the topic: "State and Prospects of Microelectronics Market: Problems and Solutions". The round table was organized by the "FAREXPO" exhibition organizer, "Russian-Chinese Center for the Urals and Siberia", TTF Electronic (Shaanxi province, China). During the round table, experts shared successful practices and examples of bilateral cooperation, considered the challenges facing them and jointly discussed the conditions and opportunities for deepening business cooperation in the microelectronics and instrument-making market.

Business and trade-economic relations with China have been further strengthened in recent years, especially in the current conditions of the sanctions policy of the collective West, and the leadership of Russia and China are introducing new mechanisms and strategic initiatives. In the conditions of dynamically developing Russian mechanical engineering and instrument-making industries, there is an increasing need to use a wide component base of microelectronics. At present, Russian manufacturers cannot fully satisfy the needs of the market, in connection with which Chinese partners can promptly provide supplies of necessary high-quality products in the required volume.

Taking into account technological sovereignty and the tasks of developing our own micro component base, the creation of joint companies and localization of high-tech production in Russia are becoming relevant. In this regard, experts emphasized the need to move to the next stage of interaction - from the "market" to "production".

On the sidelines of the round table, a cooperation agreement was signed between the FAREXPO exhibition organizer, Russian-Chinese Centre for the Urals and Siberia, and TTF Electronic (Shaanxi province, China).

The outcome of the round table was an agreement to draw up a joint plan and roadmap, and to create a working group to submit resolutions (relevant) materials to the higher bodies of the “BRICS Supreme Council”.
